According to a number of reports, Hart was arraigned on Friday morning on charges of strangulation resulting in wounding/bodily harm. Currently, Hart is being held without bail in Richmond City Jail. Maria Meniac, currently a Ring of Honor star, was allegedly the victim.

Hart’s alleged offences represent a class six felony under Virginia law. If convicted, Hart could receive up to five years in prison.

Hart is scheduled for a hearing on April 22nd.

RICHMOND, VA: Stop us if you’ve heard this one before, but Teddy Hart was arrested for the third time in under two months earlier today.

In a video shared by independent wrestler Ace Montana, Hart can be seen being kicked off of the wrestler’s property while in the midst of a verbal altercation. According to claims made by Montana, Hart reportedly attacked his oft-seen compatriot Maria Meniac. Hart denied the claims in the video.

“I literally had to pull my gun on #Teddyhart and throw him out of my friends house,” Montana said in a Facebook post earlier today. “This piece of sh*t literally choked out and physically assaulted Maria Manic and would not let her get help. she texted me I’m in danger never ever did I think I would meet a piece of sh like this guy who has now been arrested with a felony against him. I don’t think this guy knew how close to death he was. #f**kyouteddyheart This video is me kick him out before the cops came and arrested him.”

Hart, 40, was previously arrested in mid-February for possession of a schedule III narcotic, as well as possession with intent to sell or distribute. The crime is punishable with up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine up to $2,500. He was arrested for the 2nd time on March 4th for violation of his house arrest.
