More names have been announced for the 2018 Mae Young Classic, as WWE.com has confirmed that Ashley Rayne, Priscilla Kelly and Xia Brookside as participants in this year’s tournament.

The three join names such as Toni Storm and former Divas Champion Kaitlyn as competitors in this year’s stacked MYC field. While taping/airing dates are still to be confirmed, the finals of this year’s Mae Young Classic will be held at Evolution, the first all-female PPV in WWE history.

Let’s take a look at the newly announced competitors.

Ashley Rayne
TNA

While Ashley Rayne may not be a name WWE fans are familiar with, they’ll certainly know her by her former name of Madison Rayne. The 13-year veteran is a women’s wrestling icon, best known for her time in TNA and IMPACT wrestling. She’s a multi-time champion with the promotion, winning the TNA Knockouts Championship on five occasions. Rayne has also won three tag team championships across both TNA and Shimmer. In an interesting bit of history, her first-ever wrestling match was refereed by former WWE Diva Ivory. Look for the veteran to make a - pun totally intended - huge impact in the MYC.

Priscilla Kelly
Starcasm

One of the more unique wrestlers in the 2018 Mae Young Classic is 21-year old Priscilla Kelly. The inaugural SHINE Nova Champion is relatively new to the ring; however, her unique ring psychology is already earning her a reputation as a future superstar. While her psychology may be what earns her attention, her in-ring skills are what’s earned her victories over wresters like Jordynne Grace and fellow MYC competitor Deonna Purrazzo.

Xia Brookside
WWE

At just 19 years old, Xia Brookside represents the youngest-announced competitor for this year’s tournament. While young, the current IPW: UK Women’s Champion is already establishing a reputation as one of the hardest-hitting females in wrestling today. The stepdaughter of United Kingdom legend Robbie Brookside - now a Performance Center coach himself - is one of the more interesting names in this year’s tourney, both due to her age and already stellar reputation.
