CALGARY, AB: Despite the lack of events currently taking place throughout Alberta, Real Canadian Wrestling is still looking ahead to their 17th-Anniversary weekend scheduled for the start of May. Today, the promotion announced their scheduled main event for their first event of the weekend, scheduled for May 1st in Calgary.

At RCW Bragging Rights, Heavy Metal will defend the RCW Canadian Heavyweight Championship against one of Canada’s finest in “All Ego” Ethan Page.

Page, currently one-half of the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The North, will be making his RCW debut that evening. Page is also scheduled to appear at the following evening’s RCW: Clash of the Egos in Edmonton.

Of course, the announcement is contingent on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, Albertans are limited to events of no more than 15 people, impeding any professional wrestling shows from running in the near future.

Tickets for any announced Real Canadian Wrestling shows can be purchased through the RCW Showpass page, or through any of the promotion’s social media channels.

Stay tuned to the WCSN for more from Real Canadian Wrestling.
