EDMONTON, AB: RCW has a pair of brand-new tag team champs.
At tonight’s RCW Rise of Legends, the team of Barricade and Dean Richtor captured the RCW Tag Team Championships, defeating three other teams in a ladder match to win the titles.
The win ends the reign of the Neon Knights (Dylon Stone, Travis Cole and Jack Pride) at 50 days.
Both Cole and Stone represented the Neon Knights in the evenings matchup. In addition, both the Malicious Militia (Cody Chimera/Maverick Jack) and the Irish Nites (Son of Irish/Nite) were participants in the evenings match.
The pair’s victory marks the beginning of their second tag team title reign. On August 29th, the pair won the championships after defeating the Malicious Militia (Cody Chimera/Maverick Jack) in Edmonton; unfortunately, their first reign as titleholders was short-lived. The following evening, August 30, saw the pair lose their titles in a hard-fought rematch against the Militia.
Thus far, no announcement has been made on a rematch for the Neon Knights.
