One of the biggest names in female wrestling has been announced for the 2018 Mae Young Classic

WWE.com has confirmed that Toni Storm will be competing in her second straight MYC. The 22-year-old Australian was a semi finalist in last year’s tournament, defeating Ayesha Raymond, Lacey Evans and Piper Niven en route to a fourth-round loss to eventual winner Kairi Sane.

A nine year veteran, Storm has previously competed for IMPACT Wrestling and Stardom. In fact, as recently as last month Storm was the Women of Stardom Champion before losing her title on the 8th of June. She was also honoured as #24 on the PWI Top 50 Females list in 2017.

Last month, Storm was a participant in the United Kindgom Championship Tournament, making it to the finals before losing to Shayna Baszler. The Australian prodigy is one of the brightest stars in wrestling today, and has to be considered a favourite to win the tournament.
